K9 Advantix II is a topical flea, tick, mosquito, and lice treatment for dogs. It is to be applied once per month and kills fleas, which may reduce incidence of conditions such as FAD. Flea bites can cause flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) and other skin infections. A single flea can lay up to 50 eggs per day, leading to infestations—even in your home. In addition to biting and feeding on pets, ticks can transmit diseases like Lyme Disease. Bites from infected mosquitoes can spread heartworm disease.

Best use:
- Combine with sanitation of any area used by the dog: vacuum floors, carpets, and furniture (discard vacuum bag after use). Wash the dog’s bedding, living quarters, and surrounding areas.
- Do not shampoo or immerse the dog in water immediately after treatment. The dog can be shampooed, immersed in water or exposed to rain 3 days after treatment. The duration of protection may be shortened by shampooing, water immersion or exposure to rain. Reapplication may be required after such activities.
Warnings:
- DO NOT USE ON CATS, KITTENS, OTHER ANIMALS, OR DOGS LESS THAN 8 WEEKS OF AGE. Cats that actively groom or engage in close physical contact with recently treated dogs may be at risk of serious harm, including death
- DO NOT ADMINISTER BY MOUTH
- If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe the pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately
- Do not apply another pest control product such as a shampoo, collar, or powder that contains imidacloprid, permethrin, or pyriproxyfen to the treated animal after applying K9 Advantix II
- Consult a veterinarian before using on sick, aged, pregnant or nursing animals or animals receiving drug or other pesticide treatment
